snack time!

here is an idea for a super quick healthy snack! slice apples. spread a bit of peanut butter on each. (we use fresh ground peanut butter and add organic flax seeds. a bit of vanilla. and a pinch of cinnamon to it.) top the peanut butter with your favorite trail mix and sprinkle with a light dusting of additional cinnamon. stack some kumquats in the center and viola! delicious. healthy. quick. and nutritious! food and photo by s/p.2013
