fall lookbook.

i have been going through a fashion rut as of late and decided to make a conscious effort to find a fall “look” for myself. as the warm days of summer go it is time to get out the layers. boots. thick socks. i am into the clean. simple things this year. pure fabrics. wool. cotton. silk. canvas. pulling inspiration from many sources. reading a jane goodall article in national geographic and being inspired by her khaki on khaki beautifully clean. simple. functional outfits in the gombe reserve. looking at images of georgia o’keefe and her utilitarian painters clothes of a button up collared shirt and high waisted shorts. no patterns. no logos. no frills. just beauty for beauty’s sake. the other side of this is the classy wool wide leg trousers with kitten heels with a white dress shirt. inspiration comes in many forms. this fall/winter my clothing will reflect my attempt to slow down. breathe in. and enjoy the simplicity found in clean. beautifully functional clothing. enjoy!
