i am never one to say no to a three day weekend. my love and i have been finding ourselves spending as much time a possible at home where we can sprawl out. nap sporadically. and eat randomly. i prepared our labour day feast outside on our found wooden table. the menu:
- red wine/pellegrino.
- salmon with garlic, lime, and cilantro.
- brown rice with onions, cilantro, and feta.
- grilled slices of garlic, black olive bread with smoked garlic.
the entire meal was made on the table top grill. the rice in a foil packet. what a wonderful way to cut out dirty dishes (which i truly loathe) and chill out under the stars in our little backyard oasis!
